Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This is a starter template pending legal review and may change.
PreflightPR ("we", "us") provides automated launch and security checks for software projects. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account and contact data: your email address and any GitHub repository or organization name you give us.
- Repository data: when you install our GitHub App, we access the code of the repositories you select, only to run scans and prepare fix pull requests.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited details (such as email, plan, and payment status) but never your full card number.
- Usage and technical data: basic logs such as IP address, timestamps, and request metadata, used for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To run scans, produce reports, and open pull requests you asked for.
- To process payments, send receipts and service messages, and provide support.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell your data and we do not use your code to train AI models. Code is processed temporarily for each scan and is not kept longer than needed to deliver the scan results and fixes.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the service, including GitHub (repository access), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website and database), and Fly.io (scan servers). They process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Retention and deletion
We keep order and account records as long as needed for the service and legal or tax obligations. You can uninstall the GitHub App at any time to revoke repository access, and you can ask us to delete your data by emailing us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
